Teen Summer Starts Here

If you’ve visited the library during Exam Cram Study Hall, you’ve seen it firsthand: the library becomes a hotspot for teens.

Our spaces are filled with energy, conversation, focused studying, and connection. With snacks, encouraging affirmations, stress-relief dog visits, and dedicated study spaces, the library becomes more than a place to study—it becomes a place to belong.

This summer, we’re keeping that energy going.

Whether you want to compete in a Nintendo tournament, create with Cricut, test your trivia skills, watch a movie, learn something new, explore a hobby, or simply find a place to hang out, there’s something for you at the library.

What’s Coming Up

Make the library your place to create, relax, play, learn—and be yourself. Program registration opens at noon on the third Wednesday of the month for the next month’s programs. You don’t need to have a library card to attend our free programs!

More for Teens at BPL

Beyond programs, teens also help shape what happens at the library. Through volunteer opportunities like our recent Craft Drive, teens helped sort, organize, and prepare donated craft supplies from the community, earning volunteer hours while supporting creative experiences for others.

We’re excited to create even more opportunities for teens to contribute, lead, and connect. Watch our website and social media for new ways to get involved at the library.
