World-Class Speakers at Your Fingertips

Burlington readers, you'll always have the best seats in the house at speaker events through Library Speakers Consortium online resource, available through Burlington Public Library.

Each month, Library Speakers Consortium (LSC), a partnership of libraries, offers 2-3 FREE live online events with world-renowned authors and thought leaders. During each moderated event, the presenter answers questions submitted by viewers. If you miss a live event—no worries! Each live event is recorded so you can watch past talks through BPL's LSC site.

LSC Box Office is Open 24/7

Registering for a talk is simple. You can find Library Speakers Consortium under Learning & Research in the RESOURCES section of the library’s website. Select the event you would like to attend and click “Register.” Next, enter your name and email address on the online registration form. Select “Register” again—and you’re done! On the event date, you will receive a link to log in to the live event. Events are online only; telephone access is not available.

Once you've registered for one LSC author talk, you will receive a monthly promotional email from Library Speakers Consortium about upcoming virtual talks. We will also share some featured LSC events in our events calendar and program eNewsletter.
