Do you love to read and talk about books? We've got monthly book clubs perfect for you! At our book clubs for school-age students, you can meet other readers with the same passion for a great story. But that's not all! Library book clubs are a chance to discover new novels and authors while making new friends.
Book Clubs for Kids
Grade 4 to 6 Book Club and Grade 7 & 8 Book Club are similar, but feature different books geared to the ages and interests of the readers. The Book Clubs meet from September to May, except in December. At the first meeting in September, we get to know each other and enjoy games and activities, and you go home with your first monthly book to read for the meeting in October.
Every month, you get a new book to read before we meet again the next month. Then, at our monthly meetup, we talk about the book, the author, and Read-Alike books that you also might like. After that, we wrap up the hour with some fun activities like word games and Hangman. And if you can't finish the featured book before the monthly meeting, that's okay. Please still come and participate in the discussion and activities!
