Have a Sweet Time With Us

February brings a little extra love to Burlington Public Library—and you’re invited to enjoy every bit of it. All month long, you’ll find playful programs, cozy reading inspiration, and a few sweet surprises tucked around the library.

There’s lots to love at the library this February. Pop in, explore a little, and see what’s waiting to steal your heart.

Go on a Blind Date... with a Book!

From February 1 to 14, keep an eye out for Blind Date with a Book. At each branch, you’ll find a display of books in bags (no peeking allowed!). Instead of a cover, each surprise book comes with a short description—maybe a genre, a vibe, or a hint about the story inside—but no title and no author. It's like a literary blind date! Take a chance and see where the story takes you. It’s a fun way to shake up your reading routine and maybe fall for a book you’d never have picked on your own.

While you’re visiting, don’t forget to grab a sweet little Valentine’s Day card—free, while supplies last. They’re ready to personalize and pass along to someone special (or keep for yourself!).

Kids can also jump into the fun from February 1 to 14 with a drop-in Valentine’s Day Scavenger Hunt and colouring activities.
