Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day

burlington cenotaphOn Saturday, November 11, Burlington Public Library observes Remembrance Day at all locations.

We invite library visitors to join staff when we pause for two minutes of silence at 11am, to remember the men and women of our nation’s armed services who have died in the line of duty since World War I.

We ask that visitors turn off or mute electronic devices before and during the observance.

At Central Library, two minutes of silence will follow the reading of In Flanders Fields.

Library staff will not answer phones or assist customers while we are silent.

We appreciate your cooperation.
