National Indigenous Peoples Day

June 21

Together with Canadians everywhere, we honour the rich heritage, distinct cultures, and achievements of Canada's First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. As a library deeply committed to nurturing the joy of reading in people of all ages, in particular we celebrate the exceptional storytelling talents and contributions of our Indigenous Peoples.

We proudly recognize that Burlington Public Library is located on the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit.
