Project Joint City/Library Staff Report - November 7, 2003
This report identifies the Preferred Schematic Plan and seeks Council
approval of a revised capital cost estimate including a financial plan
in order to proceed with detailed construction drawings and public tender
in the Spring of 2004. The report also summarizes findings of a Public
Open House held at the Brant Hills Community Centre on September 17,
2003.

Project Update Joint City/Library Staff Report - June 30, 2003
This joint report presents an information update regarding the Brant
Hills Community Centre revitalization and Tyandaga Branch Library addition
and expansion, including a revised timeline and capital cost estimate.
In accordance with the revised schedule, staff will proceed to a public
Open House in September 2003. Based on public input to the proposed
revised schematic concept, and in conjunction with an updated financing
strategy as identified by staff, approval of the preferred design and
related cost elements will be sought in the November 2003 report.

Design Study:
City Staff Report
This report presents the results of the Phase 2 - Functional Design
Study for the Brant Hills Community Centre revitalization and Tyandaga
Branch Library addition and expansion. It recommends that the McCallum
Sather Architects Inc. Feasibility Study Design Brief, dated November
2002 be adopted as the framework for the development of the detailed
design for the Brant Hills Community Centre and Tyandaga Branch Library;
and that City and Library Staff proceed to jointly retain an architect
for the detailed design phase of the project, subject to budget approval.

This report presents the results of the Phase 2 - Functional Design
Study for the Brant Hills Community Centre Revitalization and the Tyandaga

Tyandaga Neighbourhood Branch Library: Staff Feasibility Study Report
The full staff report contains the recommendations that were unanimously
approved on March 28 by the Library Board. Appendices to the report
include the reports submitted by McCallum Sather Architects Inc., Halton
Regional Police, and Ipsos-Reid Corporation. It is available for in-library
viewing at Central Library (Upper Level Information Desk), Tyandaga
and Tansley Woods Branch Libraries, or you can download the report,
without appendices, in PDF format
