Building For Tomorrow Projects

As the title suggests, our strategic focus was on building—building our facilities, technology infrastructure, human resources capacity and services to meet the demands of the Burlington community as it continued to grow and change.

Building for Tomorrow Update, Strategic Directions 2005-2007 138KB provided the Library with clear objectives and strategies for moving ahead with this focus.

The 2005-2007 update was not built in isolation. It built upon the momentum of past plans and established the ground work for the future. Read the Library's current plan, In Touch with Our Community: The Burlington Public Library’s Strategic Plan 2007-2011.

The update of the original plan, approved July 2003, fine-tuned the strategies and adjusted the time horizon for their completion.

Building for Tomorrow 2001-2004 459KB
The initial Strategic Plan established Burlington Public Library’s first chapter in building for the future.
