Information Burlington
Information Burlington is located on the 2nd floor in Burlington Central
Library, and is a department of Information Services.
Information Burlington is a non-profit charitable organization
which offers a free, confidential mediated information and referral
service to the citizens of Burlington. The organization's goal is to
connect people with the community and government services they need
and to ensure that the public is aware of the programs and services
offered in the community.
It is also an accredited member of the Association
of Community Information Centres of Ontario, operating as InformOntario,
and adheres to all the association standards. In cooperation with the
Information Centres in Acton, Milton, and Oakville, Information Burlington
participates in joint projects with the Halton
Information Providers (HIP) including the HaltonCommunity Services
Database and the publication of the Halton Community Services Directory.
