MasterFILE Premier is designed specifically for public libraries. This multidisciplinary database provides full text for more than 2,000 periodicals covering general reference, business, health, education, general science and multicultural issues with coverage dating as far back as 1975.

Health Source Consumer Edition provides full text from health periodicals, pamphlets, and books.

Database interface

Canadian Reference Centre combines Canadian magazines, newspapers, newswires and reference books to create the largest collection of regional full text content available to Canadian libraries.

Canadian Literary Centre consists of book and reference content from Essays on Canadian Writing Press. ECW Press also provides several individual monographs and biographies, essays and literary criticism. The database includes book reviews, essays, author biographies, and much more.

Alt HealthWatch covers the many perspectives of complementary, holistic and integrated approaches to health care and wellness. Use this database to find information on herbal medicine, homeopathy, yoga, massage therapy and more.

Primary Search provides a place for younger students to search for information that may be helpful for homework assignments. All full text articles included in the database are assigned a reading level indicator, and full text information dates as far back as 1990.

Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia offers over 25,000 entries on a variety of topics.

History Reference Center offers full text from reference books, encyclopedias and non-fiction books, cover to cover full text for history periodicals, historical documents, biographies of historical figures, historical photos and maps, and historical video.

Science Reference Center is a comprehensive research database that provides easy access to a multitude of full text science-oriented content. This database contains full text for nearly 640 science encyclopedias, reference books, periodicals, etc. Topics covered include: biology, chemistry, earth & space science, environmental science, health & medicine, history of science, life science, physics, science & society, science as inquiry, scientists, technology and wildlife.

EBSCO Animals describes the nature and habitat of familiar animals.

Library, Information Science & Technology Abstract (LISTA) indexes periodicals, plus books, research reports and proceedings. Subject coverage includes librarianship, classification, cataloging, bibliometrics, online information retrieval, information management and more. Coverage in the database extends back as far as the mid-1960s.
