Gale Virtual Reference Library - Literature

 A database of encyclopedias and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research. These reference materials might once have only been accessible in the library, but are now available online from any computer!

Literature Criticism Online (Gale)

Contains the cross-searchable full text of all volumes of Contemporary Literary Criticism and Shakespearean Criticism from the first publication to present.

Biographical and critical coverage for literary figures and their works, from all time periods. Genres include fiction, non-fiction, poetry, drama, history and journalism. Critical essays from literary journals; links to over 5000 web sites.

netLibrary (netLibrary)

 Access to over 8,000 eBooks - both fiction and non-fiction. The full-text for all of these eBooks is available either from in the library or at home. All you need is an Internet connection! Some eBooks require Adobe's free Acrobat Reader product, which is easy to download.

A complete reader's resource, this database contains over 200,000 fiction and readable nonfiction titles, including lists of award-winning books, book discussion guides, book talks, recommended reads and more.

Online Book Clubs (Dear Reader)

Sign up for any one of the 8 available online book clubs and begin receiving daily excerpts from a different book each week. Each day we’ll send you a 5-minute excerpt and by the end of the week, you’ll have read 2-3 chapters! New books are featured each week - starting Monday!
