How do I login to my account?

  1. After you connect to the Catalogue, enter your 14-digit library card number (NO spaces) and the last 4 digits of your telephone number (your PIN) in the boxes at the top right corner of the screen.
  2. Customers with BPL cards will note that the first 5 digits have been provided; customers with other library cards registered with us will have to delete those numbers before entering their card number.
  3. Click on the Account Login button. You have successfully logged in when the two boxes disappear.

How do I check my library record online?

  1. Click on My Account in the menu area at the top of the screen.
  2. You will see a screen showing an overview of your account including:
  • Account Summary - brief summary of your account.
  • Checkouts - all items currently checked out on your library account, due dates, and the amount of any fine that has accumulated so far on overdue items.
  • Holds - items on which you have holds, including your place in the holds queue and whether or not any of your holds are available.
  • Bills - fines for items that were overdue when returned and any other charges for lost or damaged items. NOTE: Fines for items that are still checked out will not appear here until the items have been returned.

How do I renew items online?

  1. Login as above and click on the Checkouts/Renew Items tab.
  2. Use check boxes beside items checked out to select items for renewal.
  3. You will see all of the items currently checked out on your account, Times renewed, and Due dates.
  4. Select the item(s) you wish to renew by clicking in the box(es) beside the title, then click the Renew Selected Items button.
  5. A message will confirm whether your renewal was successful, including the new due date. The system will not allow renewals on items currently on hold.
  6. NOTE - if you renew an overdue item, fines will be assessed and added to your record for the overdue period. Renewing items after the due date will not cancel accrued fines on the item.
