Local Organizations (Not-for-Profit Sports Clubs & Associations)

  • BLOMHA
    Burlington Lions Optimist Minor Hockey Association promotes and teaches amateur hockey and provides opportunities for individuals to participate regardless of their ability.
  • Burlington Amateur Softball Association (BASA)
    BASA is fast-pitch, windmill style softball. Early age divisions start with T-ball and move to coach-pitch, own-pitch and finally into opponent-pitch
  • Burlington Amateur Sports Leagues (BASL)
    Offers several sports programs for adult and youth sports enthusiasts. Games played in these facilities: Tansley Woods Community Centre, Brant Hills Community Centre, Brant Hills and Sherwood Forest Baseball Parks and The Wave Sports Centre.
  • Burlington Aquatic Devilrays Swim Club
    An amateur club that teaches and promotes the sport of competitive swimming.
  • Burlington Ball Hockey League
    Established in 1988 to provide individuals from Burlington and surrounding areas with a well-organized and competitive ball hockey league. Provides exciting safe ball hockey action to its members from April to August for enthusiasts between the ages of 18 and 45.
  • Burlington Basketball
    It combines three basketball organizations that previously operated independently in
    Burlington: The Minor Basketball Association of Burlington (MBAB), the Burlington Basketball League (BBL), and the Burlington Panthers Basketball Club (Panthers). This organization is dedicated to the development of competitive basketball in Halton Region.
  • Burlington Bay - Including Burlington Sailing and Boating Club - BSBC
    Located in LaSalle Park, on the north shore of Burlington Bay (Hamilton Harbour), the club is a mixture of keel boats and dinghies. Also includes the LaSalle Park Marina Association.
  • Burlington Girls Hockey Club
    Provides hockey instruction and competition for girls and women. Check up on the latest game results, learn about how they govern the activities of the club and more.
  • Burlington Gymnastics Club
    Offers gymnastics at multiple levels with over 2,500 boys and girls in recreational gymnastics.
  • Burlington Masters Swim Club
    All swimmers, triathletes, joggers and cyclists are welcome to come out and learn more about swimming technique, strength, endurance and most of all fitness -- for the over 20 set.
  • Burlington Runners Club
    Everyone from the casual jogger to the serious competitor will want to check out this site. Review their newsletter and scheduled races.
  • Burlington Skating Centre
    One of the largest skating clubs in Canada offering learn-to-skate, recreational, competitive and synchronized skating programs for all ages, all levels.
  • Burlington Soccer League
    The league offers an opportunity to players, 35 years and older, to play in a non-competitive, and friendly setting.
  • Burlington Sports Alliance
    A collaboration of sporting associations that work cooperatively together to provide a voice for the ongoing promotion and education of the benefits of sport within Burlington. Together they provide opportunities to coaches, athletes, organizations and parents to enhance the sports experience in Burlington.
  • Burlington Youth Soccer Club
    Organizes soccer leagues for kids aged 5 through 15. Fosters development of skills, encourages fair play, enjoyment, and sportsmanship.
  • Golden Horseshoe Disabled Sports Association
    Betters the lives of disabled youth through athletics. Encourages swimming, track and field and basketball.
  • Golden Horseshoe Touch Football Association
    An adult touch football association that runs games at various skill levels at various locations.
  • Ringette Association of Burlington
    Offers girls in the Halton region of Ontario the opportunity to play the fast-paced and exciting sport of Ringette that combines the speed of hockey and the strategy of basketball.

  • Toronto FC
    Toronto was awarded an expansion club by Major League Soccer in 2005. Toronto FC played it's first-ever regular season MLS game on April 7, 2007.
  • Toronto Maple Leafs
    Official site includes sections on players, the stadium, updated scores, and a history of the organization.
